Computing for disabled adults
Mondays 9.30am-12.30pm and 1-3pm
Ecas, Norton Park, Albion Road EH7 5QY
Every Monday, Ecas’ Computing and IT Group meet in-person and online. This is a friendly and relaxed group for people with a physical disability. Beginners are very welcome.
Our Computing and IT Group is here to help you,
- feel safer and more confident with the technology you have, or
- take your Computer and IT skills to the next level, or both!
For example,
- is your mobile phone or tablet helping you connect with others and find what you’re looking for?
- is your laptop or PC helping you do the things you want to do?
- are you confident about safely shopping online or downloading files?
With gentle guidance and independent advice, our experienced Group Leader John helps you learn how to use everyday devices and software to make life easier, and to open up new opportunities to connect, learn and create.
With Ecas, you can also develop your IT and creative skills. Enjoy tailored one-to-one sessions in Adobe Photoshop and other design, media and creative apps.
Let us help you,
- connect with others online and through email
- shop online safely and securely
- find information, for example about your rights and services
- make the most of your photos and videos
- create your own designs, and more!
